FIRE IN TENERIFE

As of today, the fire, which has been going on since August 15, is not yet completely controlled, but it seems that all the services involved in putting out this powerful element are slowly starting to control the situation. The Mishka inhabitants returned to their homes and began a relatively normal life. Unfortunately, the weather conditions of the past days were not very favorable. High temperature and strong wind always work to the detriment of all those fighting against this force of nature. At the moment, about 15,000 hectares of forests have been destroyed. The inhabitants of these green and unique areas that Tenerife could be proud of also suffered. Numerous flocks of birds, insects and other species belonging to the fauna of the Canary Islands. The comforting information is that a large part has not been affected and the Canary pine is a tree that has high resistance to high temperatures and regenerates quickly.
