GRAN TOUR TEIDE & MASCA BUS FROM SOUTH

The trip begins with the entry to the highest attractions of Tenerife, with a beautiful panorama of the southern coast. Stop in Vilaflor (1550m above sea level), the highest Canarian village, surrounded by pine forests, which are of great importance for the water management of the islands,

Then a visit to the Teide National Park, stops at viewpoints with a panorama of the Teide volcano in the background, for those willing to take the Teleferico cable car (additionally payable according to the current cableway price list, currently € 27 adults and € 13.50 children). Alternatively, for non-travelers, take a walk along the Los Roques de Garcia rock formations, which have been eroded to wonderful and varied shapes.

We will leave the National Park in the north-west direction, towards the Teno Mountains, where the village of Masca is located - a beautifully situated settlement at the back of the Los Gigantes cliffs, founded by real Canarian pirates who once lived here. Free time will allow you to admire the beautiful surroundings of the village, a palm orchard with date palm trees and terraced plots on the hills, which will introduce visitors to a unique atmosphere.

The next visit will be the old port of Garachico, the most atmospheric town called Pompeii of Tenerife. It was destroyed in a volcanic eruption in 1706, and then rebuilt on a natural volcanic platform formed in the Atlantic.

In Garachico you will have over one hour of free time with the possibility of swimming in natural lava pools with sea water (in good weather), with a break for a meal (not included in the price of the trip - optional to purchase).

The last point of the program will be a visit to the town of Icod de Los Vinos, where you will visit the old town of the city with the possibility of admiring the "Dragon Tree" - the famous old Dracaena on the island, and tasting Canarian wines and liquors.
